Golden Stick Wiffleball League has been running leagues on the North Shore for over a decade.  Since 2007 GSWL has hosted its annual youth event for Danvers' Rec Department.  Averaging over a hundred kids from local parks, each of the past five years, this year's July event topped 140 young wifflers.  These players, literally brought in by bus, are responsible for some of Golden Stick's top moments in its now eleven year history!

Now, starting the week of August 20, 2012, we're proud to announce that we'll be kicking off a new era in GSWL.  We're launching an actual four city youth circuit on the North Shore!  Teams of local players ages 9-14 will form, entering in one of four city level events the week of August 20-23.

These 1 night events will be held in Hamilton, Danvers, Salem, and Beverly, MA.  **The champion of each city level event will then be invited to play the winners of the other three cities at the Golden Stick Junior Championships.  See below for more info.

Start times may vary but each event is slated to last from 3:30pm-7:30pm with elimination rounds beginning approx. 5:30.  A more detailed schedule will be emailed to you prior to your event.

HAMILTON-WENHAM EVENT  - Monday August 20 - 3:30-7:30 - Pingree Park, Wenham MA (211 Main St.)

DANVERS' EVENT - Tuesday August 21 - 3:30-7:30 - Great Oaks Park, Danvers MA (76 Pickering St.)

SALEM'S EVENT - Wendnsday August 22 - 3:30-7:30 - Castle Hill Park, Salem MA (Story Rd. & Laurier Rd.)

BEVERLY'S EVENT - Thursday August 23 - 3:30-7:30- N. Beverly School, Beverly MA  (48 Puntnam St.)

Cost is $20 / player which includes:

-Player's own GSWL Youth Circuit "Golden Stick Junior Champions" Tee shirt

-Pre event clinic with one of Golden Stick's amazing pro wifflers.

-Round Robin style prelim rounds followed by single elimination playoff culminating in the city finals to finish an amazing one night tournament.

-Chance to represent their city at the 2012 OPEN - GSWL's Fast Pitch "Pro" League's National Championship at Patton Park on Labor Day Weekend.  Youth Final Four followed by championship game will begin a on Sunday September 2.  Start time approx 11am. *There is no additional expense for playing in the Golden Stick Junior Championships @ the OPEN!

-Each city winner earns city champion shirt, complete with city colors and their own matching custom embroidered GSWL hat to be worn at the championship event.

-Balls and bats PROVIDED by GSWL
