Freaky Franchise and Yard League, A Perfect Match

Already a mainstay in the Fast Pitch arena, the Freaky Franchise organization will look to make some headway on the Yard League diamond this year.  As a franchise, Freaky only played in 12 games last year with Ryan Bush as the only current roster member to play in all 12 games.  As we take a look at their 2015 projected roster you’ll notice some familiar names.  But as we continue to analyze the Franchise, we’ll see that they made some key additions that will hopefully put Freaky on the map this season.

Ryan Bush and Erik Rosenberg already play together in Fast Pitch so their union in Yard league is not unsuspected.  Bush and Rosenberg contemplated adding Phil Fresiello and Connor Young to the roster only recently because Fresiello was unsure of his commitment level for the 2015 season.  Young was released by the PA Hooligans last season and has joined up with former Hustlers teammate Fresiello, making the Franchise a formidable force in Yard this season.  Rosenberg has proven himself to be one of the best hitters in GSWL, slashing .306/.425/.450 last season.  Fresiello and Young have shown glimpses of greatness on the mound and will provide some much needed pitching depth for the Franchise

Look for Freaky to really turn some heads this year, if they stay together, and have a very competitive season.  Also, the fact the Freaky’s roster is spread out over the Northeast will allow them to be available for more than just their allotment of 5 regional games.  The more opportunities for points and cash, the more motivated a team will be to succeed.  People love Freaky Franchise and the league is excited to hopefully see them compete in Yard League.

Projected Lineup: Erik Rosenberg, Ryan Bush, Connor Young, Phil Fresiello,

Connor Young
